Inspiration from another piece by one of my photographer friends, T. Lee Kindy. He took this interesting photo of me.

All the Shaded Places

All the shaded places
Where only shadows grow
Weeds and litter occupy
The places we don’t know
The sun will not shine down here
A secret it cannot find
Ancient bricks and dusty wood
Are all that’s left behind
No one seems to notice
This space through which I crawl
And find clandestine artwork
Adorning forgotten wall
This place was once discovered
By whom I do not know
In a place unseen and forgotten
Where sunlight will not go
